Saucony Guide 13
For those who crave reliable comfort on any run and need some support, the Guide 13 gives the best balance of feel-good cushioning and fluid guidance through the gait cycle.
This is Saucony’s workhorse structured cushioning shoe. “Structured” simply means it has medial posting built in to aid in reducing over pronation. It contains the new PWRRUN EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) foam midsole which provides solid cushioning. On the medial side it has a firm TPU guidance frame which helps guide the foot through its natural gait cycle. It comes with an 8mm drop and is a supportive yet well cushioned road shoe.
Running Niche Experience
Guide 13 fits true to size. The collar surrounding the achilles is soft and comfortable. This is a solid mild stability shoe. The ride is a little firm but that’s good as it resists medial compression after thousands of steps. The upper is a soft engineered mesh and sitting on top of the midsole is a nice, soft layer of eva cushioning foam. Stack height is 32.5 in the heel and 24.5 in the forefoot.
